Bankruptcy
As a federally designated Debt Relief Agency, in addition to non-bankruptcy
assistance, I provide legal assistance to individuals to obtain
relief under the United States Bankruptcy Code, Chapter 7 and
Chapter 13. I have received extensive training with respect to
the new bankruptcy law, Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer
Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA), which took effect on October
17, 2005.
Collections
I work with individuals and small business to collect debts owed
to them by other individuals or small businesses. This includes
working with clients prior to the accrual of any debts to protect
the individual/small business against losses and to maximize the
potential for successful collections. Once a person or business
defaults on a debt, I aggressively pursue the collection using
all legal means available.
Traffic
I represent clients in a wide variety of traffic offenses with
an emphasis on reckless driving, speeding, and driving under the
influence (DUI), also known as driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Criminal
Represent clients charged with misdemeanor offenses, those with
penalties up to one year in jail.
Real Estate
This includes preparing and/or reviewing real estate contracts
for the purchase/sale of residential property; preparation of
all required legal documents; conduct of the closing; and, closing
on refinance transactions.
Domestic Relations
I represent clients in a variety representing clients in a variety
of uncontested matters ranging from divorce to adoption to name
changes. Representation includes working with one spouse to develop/produce
a Property Settlement Agreement (PSA) which states the rights
and responsibilities, including child custody, alimony and child
support payments, of each party to the marriage once the parties
are separated.
Small Businesses
Work with individuals to create small, closely held, corporations
for their businesses. Serve as registered agent for the corporation/business.
Work with the business to ensure the business is in compliance
with local and state laws/rules/regulations. Provide assistance
to the business as required such as preparation and review of
contracts.
Federal Labor/Personnel
Assist federal employees in such areas as dispute resolution,
grievances, promotions, and disciplinary actions. I utilize my
extensive experience gained while serving as a federal human resources
officer for a large agency for seven years.
